Essential Oils for exhaustion

The lead up to Christmas can be an extremely busy time, with present buying, parties, late nights and a feeling of obligation to make the time to see people you may not have seen all year. It can be extremely tiring especially when coupled with the dark nights and general change in routine the turn of the season brings. You can find yourself trying to do more in what most definitely seems like less time – I know that I do. This combination of oils can help to revive when you are feeling exhausted, but will also bring a sense of well being and relaxation to take the edge of that stressed, exhausted state we all find ourselves in sometimes;

Massage Combination;

  • 12ml of Almond Oil or Grapeseed Oil
  • 2 drops Lavender
  • 2 drops Clary Sage
  • 2 drops Orange Oil

Mix this combination up and massage into temples, feet and aching shoulders and neck.

Room Diffuser;

  • Fill with water
  • 2 drops Clary Sage
  • 2 drops Lavender
  • 1 drop Orange Oil

This is a wonderful fragrance for when you want to stay focused and you are tired. I often burn this when I am working at home and would rather be doing something else!

Clary Sage; A warm almost nutty aroma that I find reviving, Clary Sage is a good muscle relaxant and also helps with PMT symptoms and any physical over tiredness from over work and restlessness from exhaustion.

Orange Oil; Another warm fragrant oil, whose aroma instantly transports you to sunnier climates. It is impossible to peel an orange and not get an instant mood boost such is the power of this oil. Orange is very good for lack of energy and depression.

Lavender; The queen of essential oils, Lavender is relaxing, reviving and soothing and will ease an active mind, sore limbs and bring a general sense of well being and equilibrium.

I recommend for purchasing essential oils. They are well priced, high quality and have a choice of sizes.
